Joseph Money, LCSW-C
(Arnold Office)

Joseph Money, LCSW-C is a licensed clinical social worker that provides individual and couples therapy for adults and adolescents. He has experience treating a wide range of clinical issues to include: depression, anxiety, stress/anger management, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, posttraumatic stress, dual diagnosis and relationship/marital counseling. He received his Masters of Social Work Degree from the University of Maryland, where he also completed two inpatient psychiatric internships: The first internship took place at Sheppard Pratt and the second at Clifton T. Perkins Hospital Center, which is the only maximum security forensic hospital in the state of Maryland. He was later employed by the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene at Clifton T. Perkins Hospital Center and received extensive forensic experience.

Prior to joining the mental health field he served several years in the United States Armed Forces. As a former member of active military service, he has an understanding of the unique demands placed on active/reserve military members and their families. His areas of interest include: forensics, posttraumatic stress, anxiety/trauma reduction, anger/stress management, substance abuse and addiction and working with military veterans and their families with the use of various therapeutic modalities to include Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness Behavioral Therapy (MBT), Prolonged Exposure Therapy (PET) Psychodynamic/Psychoanalytic and more.
