Kett, Psy.D. is a psychology associate
working under the supervision of Dr. Wolff.
She has worked in a variety of mental health
settings including inpatient psychiatric facilities,
community mental health centers, private practice,
and school settings.
Dr. Kett has experience working with patients
of all ages suffering from a variety of disorders
with various levels of severity. Her greatest
interests lie in working with children, adolescents,
and young adults suffering from mood, anxiety,
and externalizing behavior disorders. Her orientation
is integrative, with a focus on cognitive behavioral
theory/therapy, and she primarily uses play
therapy when working with children.
Dr Kett also conducts family therapy and skills-based
group therapy. In addition, she has expertise
in psychological and psycho-educational testing.
She holds a Masters in Psychology in
Education from Columbia University,
and a Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology
with a specialization in Children and Families
from the American School of Professional Psychology
in Washington, DC.. Dr. Kett is a co-author
and co-editor of books focused on integrating
psychological principles and research into the
field of educational development. |
